Objective

To outline a transparent, standardized, and scalable framework for the affiliation of schools, study centers, and institutions to VSOS, and to ensure the development, delivery, and review of curriculum aligned with national standards and local needs.

Eligibility Criteria for Affiliation

Criteria Requirement
Legal EntityRegistered Trust/Society/Company under relevant Acts
InfrastructureMinimum 2 classrooms, basic labs, internet, admin space
FacultyAt least 3 qualified instructors in academic/vocational streams
Financial StabilityAudited financials for the last 2 years (if existing)
RecognitionPreferably recognized by State/Local Government bodies

Types of Affiliation

Type Description
Regular AffiliationFor full academic + skill course delivery
Skill-Only AffiliationFor ITIs, NSQF centers offering only vocational modules
Digital CenterFor online/blended delivery in remote areas
Franchise/Study CenterOperates under a Lead Partner with monitoring

Affiliation Process

  • Step 1: Online Application via VSOS Portal
  • Step 2: Document Verification
  • Step 3: Physical/Virtual Inspection
  • Step 4:Provisional Affiliation (1 year)
  • Step 5:Full Affiliation upon compliance report

Affiliation Validity & Renewal

  • Provisional Affiliation: Valid for 1 year
  • Full Affiliation: 3 years (renewable)
  • Renewal: Based on academic performance, compliance, and enrollment track

Compliance & Monitoring

  • Annual audits (academic & infrastructure)
  • Surprise inspections
  • Submission of self-assessment reports
  • Suspension or withdrawal in case of violation
